New Annual Festival / Brand Identity

We were chuffed to win the tender for the brand identity design of City of Newcastle’s inaugural arts festival in 2020. Against the odds of Covid-19, New Annual went off without a hitch, in multiple venues and locations across Newcastle. You can explore the festival highlights here.

From the very beginning, our team helped bring this event from an idea to the celebration of Newcastle that it was. Working closely with the internal Major Events Strategy and Engagement team, we created the festival name, brand identity, and creative direction, and crafted strategic copy that would successfully pitch the event to the people of Newcastle. We then produced launch and promotional videos, followed by detailed Brand Guidelines and templates for the internal design and web teams to utilise in rolling out the festival collateral.
